Re: ugliest wedding dresses

Oh dear... You do have to wonder..I mean they must have had family and friends who saw them before they went out looking like that?

Its a bit like those people who go on Tv talent shows and say 'my family said I should come on' and then proceed to wail like strangled cats.

Re: ugliest wedding dresses

I suppose the thing is the dresses suit their personalities and that's not to say they are all ugly but to say some people have rather out there tastes which wouldn't be right for us all. Slightly more demure myself when I wed, can imagine my husband running for the hills if I had arrived next to him wearing some of those

Re: ugliest wedding dresses

I was a bit of a blob when I got married (always been over weight) but the dress shop ladies were lovely and managed to make me look a lot less blob like with the right style dress, empire line, simple with wafty shorter length sleeves. Sadly shop disappeared a few months later but those ladies really knew what they were doing. I think that's the key listen to the experts they really don't want to send you down the aisle looking a fright (not a good advert for them) so they do try to get it right. (Inexpensive too only £50 which is a world away from the price some people pay).
