I lovemake all crisps and most of the flavours too...the vegetable crisps are delicious too but I dont make my own ,I just buy them

Peel your veg and diagonally slice them wafer thin with a wide peeler or a mandolin. Spread on paper towel and pat dry.

Pop into a bowl with olive oil/ seasoning and toss with your hands.

Arrange on a baking tray and roast on the low shelf for 20 minutes. Gas 6. Turn half way through and watch them as all veg are different and they may not need the full time. Usually when the parsnips are golden brown the others are done as well.

I actually did try to make some last week... with courgettes! (I know, I know, but they looked nice in the recipe!). I burnt them

Never thought to use carrots - will give them a go and let you know how I get on

Probably me, Azz, as veg crisps are terribly expensive!!

. And I'm addicted to them.

However, Lidl, (or Aldi, can never remember which) sell them, quite reasonable.

My hand is in the air! Two slices of fresh bread, Irish butter, just a smidgen of Marmite - and a pack of Walkers crisps squashed in between! Deep Joy !!
