Cos some Folks don't like 'em fried or oven cooked as they can be dry and tasteless...some Folks like 'em better with a bit' o' gravy....that's the point.

This is the traditional dish "Dublin Coddle" a kind of stew with boiled sausages and rashers in it, the missus makes it now and then for herself and the rest of the family, they all love it, I don't eat meat so I don't partake.

Not keen on the texture of boiled sausage. When doing 'bangers and mas' I tend to roast the sausages then serve them with mustard mash and onion and mushroom gravy.
