I'm a No Pot girl nowadays.I still have all the pretty pots & dishes for butter, preserves, honey etc tucked away somewhere but I rarely eat these things,so not worth getting them out. It's butter or spread straight from the pack & jam straight from the jar.
I have a bit of a thing about seeing crumbs on the butter, though, so always a clean knife to take out what I want in one go and I never put a buttery knife in the jam jar cos it encourages mould. I scoop out the jam with a clean spoon.
Have I redeemed myself?
