I can agree with this to a certain extent.
One of my BIL's has always been pretty sporty ... cross country skiing, scuba diving ... all sorts of water sports and he was forever getting injured !

Think he's seen sense at last and given up anything serious.

It's true. I've not used it for years (I'm talking about going for walks) and I've lost it. Sitting at a computer for years previous did me no favours.

Yep ... once you've lost it, it's impossible to get it back

The only solution is to begin again.

Sadly, it will will never be quite the same as it was ... hmmmmmmmm
