People, voices on the phone, the perceived workings of the mind and how I react to them

Fossil hunting, splitting a rock to find a fossil, knowing you are the first human being to ever have gazed upon it

Re: What Fascinates You?

I love many of the things already been said, like Susan's moon & stars, Longdongs fire flames and sun sparkling on water, Tiff's sunsets and Jazzi's space and infinity.
These are all fascinating things to me too.
I used get absorbed in watching animal behaviour like when puppies are born and the little noises they make, then the mothers teaching their puppies things. Ducks taking their ducklings on water for the first time, and budgies flirting and pairing up, things like that. I used to love it.

I also think to myself, how incredibly lucky I am to have been blessed with the eyesight to see such things, and the good hearing to enjoy the sounds of nature.
Many are not so fortunate.

Me too. I always imagine our ancestors walked around in black & white with background music and perhaps a narrator. It is fascinating to think that they would have seen the stars, not really knowing what they were and that the grass was still green and the sky, blue.
