No, the receptionist (she who failed charm school) photocopied the ID. I also handed in the required signed forms. Later that day emailed my solicitor asking if she'd been physically handed the stuff, but won't push it because as I stated elsewhere, someone else had gone in in front of me doing the same thing. It's obviously how it works. You go in, hand over your ID and documents, the charmless lady behind the front desk copies the ID, stamps it and takes the signed forms, and you just hope it all reaches the right desk.Re: My lease extension fiasco
Well I'm glad to hear that Jazzi. However, if you haven't heard anything by the end of this week, I would be chasing it. I worked in the legal profession for many many years, and we never treated Clients so badly. However, when I moved and employed the services of a Solicitor in this area, I was totally unimpressed at the length of time the transaction took, and the handling of it. Invariably, it was me who told them what to do next.
