Plug it in and use it Bob - there's nothing nicer than the smell of coffee brewing in the morning.

Mmmm bacon's good as well, but I don't have cooked breakfast - I would never get going if I ate much in the morning.

Oh I don't eat breakfast myself at all now, just juice and milk, but still love the wonderful smell of bacon frying!

Re: Coffee drinkers.

Yes, it's commonly available here, but I prefer the regular bacon from Whole Foods that's cured naturally without chemicals. I should say "bad" chemicals, can never remember if it's nitrAtes or nitrItes that are evil .....

Re: Coffee drinkers.

I am not sure if either are evil, but they are essential. Nitrates have 3 oxygen atoms and are commonly used in fertilizers and explosives. Nitrites have two oxygen atoms. Nitrates occur naturally in food, soil and water and nitrites are manufactured for enhancing and preserving food. Sodium nitrite is antimicrobial and s.nitrate naturally found in fruit, veggis, cereals, greens etc. is converted in s.nitrite as part of the digestive process. So I don't think you can get away from it Danysmom - its everywhere.

Re: Coffee drinkers.

Ah thanks, I knew one of them was bad; nitrItes are the ones in the good bacon at Whole Foods, then.
