WOW Realspeed, another great picture.
All I am getting at present are pidgons and sparrows and the odd robin that empty my 2 seed tubes and 2 fat ball containers every 2 days.

Most likely Rooks, we have seemingly hundreds here & they strip the feeders bare before any of the 'little' birds have a chance to get to them.

Re: Bird Feeders

I bet you can't wait for your first rat to appear. I've physically moved my bird table out to the front after spotting a large rat climbing up the post - gave me the right willies, so I pray it doesn't find the new position.

I think they prefer the Indian take away up the road.

Re: Bird Feeders

My neighbour complained that the birds don't feed from her bird feeder, I replied maybe because she has sighted it a few feet from her kitchen window where her housebound cat sits all day watching....

They walk amongst us.....

Re: Bird Feeders

The pigeons have taken over my seed feeders. They cling to the posts flapping their wings. They don't give the other little birds a chance. Hey are emptying he feeder in a day. What I am going to do is cut the posts down so that only the small birds can sit on them.
