I don't eat rabbit food (salad), but give me the rabbit and I'll make a very tasty rabbit stew out of him!!!

Re: Rabbits

I'm not sure a fence will keep rabbits out, they'll just dig down and burrow underneath. I don't know of anyone who has used Lion poo, but does it smell when it is totally dried out? I can assure you that fresh Lion poo and Lion urine necessitates the use of a gas mask, the smell is beyond belief.

Re: Rabbits

If they get past the fence I think we are giving up on veg and just growing in pots with wire round them if lion poo smells like has been suggested and garlics the alternative we would be unable to enjoy the garden anyway

Re: Rabbits

Rabbits have to be controlled, and need to be shot, if there aren't predators around, like foxes, to dispose of them.

Re: Rabbits

Several foxes on site t, they are huge ! Much bigger than the foxes I usually see around here. Lovely condition too no mange or anything.

I think the chalk hills are absolutely best place for bunnies to live, easy digging and then we come along and plant delicious grub they are in heaven

That's why fox hunting aficionados are such liars foxes are self controlling and are the friend of the arable farmer

Re: Rabbits

No such thing as a "rabbit proof" fence, ask the Australians.
