Reading all of this has shown me how to sort out the problems I have been having with my pm’s. I Found out that I was only able to accept pm’s From peeps on my contact list, sorted it now, I can now accept pm’ s from everyone..something I know I am going to regret

I get a few Personal Messages on here but not many. They are usually ones of support if I'm in one of my moods
I like to think I am pretty honest about what I say on the forum, whether it be on threads in general and especially via Personal Messages. But how do we know that people whom we are confiding in are not gossiping to others via their own PM's too?
Perhaps PM's are not what they appear and everyone is grassing everybody up!
It would be nice to know that Personal Messages are what they are intended to be i.e. "private" and not told to outsiders against our knowledge wouldn't it? 
Sometimes I am put off from telling certain people very personal things in case the whole forum gets to know about them 'behind the scenes'.
