So to answer your question. As long as the government with sinn fein sticks to the rules and the agreements, no one cares.
Good that the EU has some understanding of democratic choice. Pity it struggles to extend that to the Brexit decision.
My point wasn't about the legitamacy of Sinn Fein's democratic success but about the moral legitimacy of it's terrorist backer's continued involvement in the party.
How will he EU deal with that conundrum.....?
Let's face it , the IRA used to have a romanticism attached to it's armed struggle in some European countries ( and the USA) but Jihadist atrocities have shown the reality of terrorism . Not so romantic when they are running around Paris, Madrid and New York are they, Solly?
