Had a beautiful day ....took mum and dad and no 1 daughter out for a slap up meal ....had a nice drive ..saw some mates from the Astronomy club and now I am sitting at home with a nice glass of chardonnay...

Today I cut the grass, planted my front flower bed with 75 Osteospurmums, fed & watered about 20 tubs, went over to Mum to sort out her medication, phoned a friend who was upset at having her dog PTS, washed the kitchen floor, fed the dogs and then my cooked dinner.
Oh yes, and also finally got round to open 2 parcels which came a couple of days ago and I never got round to seeing to them at the time!

Today I looked after our grandchildren for the afternoon whilst our daughter and son in law went for an ultrasound. It was one of those new 4D things and they were very excited, as was the wife. I just saw a multi-dimentional blob, but maybe I'm just being a man!

I'm now sitting enjoying a Gin and Tonic and watching Eastenders.

I honestly cannot believe I used to be a parent to a child! One afternoon with the grandchildren these days and I am done in.

Yes Jim the grandkids can sap up all your energy alright, but it's nice to be able to help out that way, the few jars will make you feel like a new man again, cheers!

Today I have dismantled The Empress of Racnoss, removed her head and torso, and started to design a new head which will resemble a Black Widow Spider. This was very brave of me as I hate spiders and as I was prising her apart the legs kept moving!!! Then I had to search images of Black Widows Arrrrrgh! to make some sketches to copy.
You have no idea what I'm talking about, have you?
Just know that I'm making a hat for my new Steampunk outfit.

Today I chucked in one load of laundry, washed up some dishes and then stood at the kitchen window with a coffee and waved at my daughter as she went by taking one of her little tykes to preschool. She has three under four. I see them coming and I hide. Only joking. But some mornings I wish I had some of what they had for breakfast - the energy..!
