They were great Pixie, you know normally you pay about £3.50 for about 4 from the Takeaway, one chicken breast made about 14, Carol and me both had put on weight this morning.

Oooh! That's a cracking bargain, Spitty! I'm going to have a go at making my own then.....and I'm assuming they can be frozen as well? Honestly nobody would buy anything ready made ever again if they realised the savings home made food gave them! Poppadum's are easy, chapati's are easy, curry is simple to rustle up.

An iron pan! Can't use an ordinary one. I have a large very heavy iron one.

No oil? Very hot? I use a big non-stick one but I have a heavy iron one so will give that a go.

Oh wait, obviously you need oil (only a bit though) , and yes it must be very hot. Only an iron pan can get as hot as you ned to make chapati's. Iron pans hold their heat and spread it over the entire base and sides - regular pans only tend to get hot at the source of the heat. I love these because it only uses flour, water and a bit of salt. Nothing else.
