Pâté sandwich over at the allotment for lunch, then this evening I had roast beef slices, roasties (freshly picked potatoes), parsnip and sweet potato courgette and carrot (freshly picked) Yorkies, then jelly n ice cream.

The only failure was the kohl rabi: think it's past its best now (too hard).

home made lentil soup for lunch.....meatballs with creamy mash ...carrots and cauli....for dinner...

just devoured a simple ham and mushroom omelette , baby potato's ans a salad. simple food for a simple fella

For tea tonight I had a bowl of leek and tattie (potato) soup with two home made rolls and butter. Lovely.

Just for a change (and because it is far too early for lunch) how about breakfast?



Just went down to the Jitra market and bought Nasi Lemak, this one is fish. Wrapped in banana leaf cost me less than $1. Yummy eh?

Seriously missing my my 'full Irish' breakfasts - eggs, bacon, sausages, black pudding, mushrooms, soda bread & potato bread. LUVERLY!!!!

Bloody hell! if I ate that for breakfast I wouldn't need to eat for two days. Sounds about as good for you as eating at McDonalds.

Pork steak with broccoli and broad beans for meat eater, marrow, broccoli and broad beans with toasted tofu for me.
