Oh I see, thanks Chris. I, too, invested in a small steam cleaner for the very reason I avoid chemicals if I can. I wash their bedding each week as well, same as you. I might be tempting fate, but I rarely have a problem with fleas, only as I said in my reply to Audrey just now about the hedgehog. I don't go to the training clubs anymore, or to dog shows etc, so we very rarely pick up many problems (touch wood). If owners groom them regularly, any problems are easily spotted and can be nipped in the bud.
