We recently had a cleaner in. She worked very hard and did a good job. She came recommended by some professional carers that we know but the cleaning service also advertise locally.I think local companies or people who advertise cleaning services are most often going to be OK. It's just that television programmes exposing those who aren't have tended to make us wary of all of them. Any who are CRB checked should be OK.

I think its possible to purchase a 'French Maid's' uniform in Ann Summers shops.
