I'm in the no title or label camp. Mrs, Miss or Ms tells you a person is female and tends to indicate their marital status or that they don't really want to use one.Mr just tells you that the person is male but doesn't indicate anything about his marital status.
I suppose that could be called sexist or discriminatory if one wanted to make an issue of it. If we had just one title for females and one for males I might feel differently.
A title of Reverend or Doctor pertains to either gender so that's ok
As for having yet another title for transgenders, that just seems plain daft to me!
