When food programmes are on TV, I can smell the food this being cooked.

It wasn't just reserved for men, we only had carbolic soap, my mother thought it kept the germs bay.

Nowadays I use the antibacterial liquid hand wash and the antibac gel, which I use all the time.

We Girls were allowed to use Lux soap for skin but not on our hands in case it made the food smell perfumed
We used Knights Castile soap which is made with olive oil as well

Men can't resits the smell of Vanilla...as well as Steak and Chips!!

Vanilla reminds men of their Mother's cooking

I love the smell of Jeyes fluid. I use it to clean the outside bin.

My favourite smells are petrol, the smell of the earth after it has rained.
a freshly tarred road, freesia's, bacon and freshly made bread.

Art, you made me chuckle, I remember my first Avon perfume, "Wishing".

My dog could sleep for 308 miles in my car (part knocked out) but 4 miles from my home village it would burst awake up on the seat and panting with excitement and barking.

I could never smell b/a?

Blimey Tarantula, You never had Steak and Chips, you never heard of Bette Davis, and Vanilla is the most popular flavour of Ice Cream ever, and your O/H doesn't like it....Where have you been living?
