No chance!! I made sure I got my way the day I walked back down the aisle with a ring on my finger and the delightful knowledge of "oooh, now I have two lots of money to spend!" Believe you and me, he tried, the poor man, if I happened to do something that he disapproved of and forbade me from doing it, all it took was a certain look from me that would chill his bones, followed by a cold "I BEG YOUR PARDON!!!!!" He soon learned pretty fast that no-one, but no-one tells this lady what she can do or not do !!

Mind you, that was well over 45 years ago and I have mellowed a little, well maybe just enough for him to keep his pride. Now if he ever forbids me doing something, i say nothing but just go ahead and do it anyway !
