Re: Do I need a laptop ?
I use my Asus 7" tablet (less than £100) for most things but I do need a pc/laptop for certain things so I've got a Packard Bell Windows 8.1 10" notebook (£200) with a plug in and go external disc drive (£30) and this does everything a laptop does but is a lot more portable.... the memory isn't as big as a laptop so I use USB sticks for storage as well.Re: Do I need a laptop ?
I just bought an Acer Aspire 5553 (busted) for only £40 off Ebay plus £8 del. Had to buy another hard drive forrit (£20) and a replacement battery (£15 - which doesn't work!) and it still has the fault it was advertised with in that it won't switch on very often. Apart from that it was a good buy . I will have to strip it right down to expose the motherboard and check on cooling. Wish I had never bought it . BUT when it does come on it flies as it has a quad core processor and nifty graphics so there .
