Must say I enjoyed the latest star trek film and it was great seeing how those iconic characters started out. Loved Zachary's portrayal of Spock.

I am surprised that no-one has mentioned Blakes 7 which I thought at the time was brilliant. I was not a fan of science fiction and Star Trek etc left me cold but I enjoyed the eccentricities of this show.

Blakes 7 was great in it's day, bit worried they are talking about a remake and I have a feeling they won't capture the original magic.

I could never get into Blake's 7 and I'm a sci-fi nut! I'm not sure that remakes are always a good idea (the remake of Lost in Space was awful) but you never know - they might just do a good job of it and we could do with a good bit of harmless fun on the telly that isn't a boring reality show!
