Like a lot of public relations issues the evidence seems to allow people to believe what they want to believe.

Personally I find the pro Corbyn interpretation rather thin. Not having two adjacent seats so that Jeremy can sit together with his wife does not equate to being jam packed. Looks to me like damage limitation as was also Virgin staff rushing around to enable the Leader of the Opposition to sit with his wife.

Is it any wonder we're in the state we're in when honesty and responsibility are seen as idiocy by so many voters. Capitalist propaganda works so well. How shaming it is that so many in what used to be a proud country have become slaves to it.

It was a video shoot! When they do a video shoot, particularly with MPs they make the background fit the subject, propaganda or whatever you want to call it.
The point was that trains are increasingly overcrowded and badly run.
If he'd sat in a seat surrounded by other empty seats, it would've been a pointless exercise.
Jeremy Hunt in a ward of smiling patients. Do you think they were all smiling before he got there or did they pick the happy ones off the trollies in the corridor?
It's just like an advertising video.
The problem was the film edit team left the empty seats in it without editing.
George Osborne probably got all sorts of flak after his construction site / factory videos.
If someone's making a film for an ad for charity they show the scenes of poverty or whatever not good comfortable stuff.

I'm sure Virgin have taken legal advice prior to release.

Whether it was against the rules or not does not hide the fact Corbyn's film was misleading.

I agree, but you would think he or a member of his 'team' would have done their homework first about CCTV in operation to prevent Corbyn looking even more of an idiot than he really is !
