I was 10yrs old - had had a really bad day at school - Sister Celine had been like a weazel with headache all day - Peter (also 10yrs) offered to walk home with me. We went along York's Bar Walls and, in one the little alcoves, he kissed me. I wasn't very impressed - probably because I did not come from a 'kissing' sort of family.

My first proper kiss was at my 13th birthday party. I had invited Tracey whom I had noticed at a friend's party the previous week. We were dancing to Three times a lady and could only kiss when my mum was looking the other way.

She had long flowing black hair all down her back.... but none on her head.

I remember holding Cheryl Carne's hand all the way through assembly, we were sitting cross legged on parquet flooring I was sitting behind her......that was in Primary school, no idea how old we were.

My first kiss was with Evonne Young when I was about 12 or 13 in her front room.
