Are you prepared for some more gloom? October 31 the house will be talking about the consequences brexit has for aviation transport. Just hope a closed Calais doesn't necessitate air lift. The air might be closed too.

Eu aren't keeping the peace, they stand by when countries behave abhorrently. If anything they will be cause of wars if they don't reform radically.

Nato stood by in Srebreniza. Since then all of them became members of the EU and the only competition they showed since then was in the eurovision song contest.

God, your getting on my t-- with your lack of research and general waffle.

Since the beginning of the crisis, the EU has mobilised all political and humanitarian tools at its disposal in support of the Syrian people, remaining one of the main supporters of the UN-led efforts to reach a political solution and the main humanitarian donor for Syrians, with over €10.8 billion mobilised collectively with EU Member States in humanitarian, development, economic and stabilisation assistance.

You also don,t seem to recognise that the EU is not a country, the clue is in the word UNION

Sorry I'm not up to your great standard I didn't realise we have to pass a test to be allowed an opinion.

It helps when an opinion is based on facts, so others can come to the same conclusions and opinion. Otherwise we have to parrot your words. There is a lot of that, isn't it?

Re: Enough of the doom and gloom.

It would be nice if the more politically knowledgeable and astute would explain to us less intelligent beings why we are wrong in our assumptions instead of resorting to ridicule. If we are wrong and not just expressing our opinion.

After all it is probably going to affect us more than those with book learnin'!
