My late aunt used to have one as she found it difficult bending down, she was only 4ft 10ins so she also used it for reaching things out of cupboards.

She may have been tiny but she lived to the grand age of 94.

Re: Flu jabs

My friend Virginia, she was the breeder that I've mentioned occasionally, used hers for cabinets also before her hip replacement surgery. Sadly, she didn't live that much longer afterwards; heart attack.

My letter was waiting for me when I got back from Scotland yesterday.
My son, who is a great believer in conspiracy theories, thinks that they are trying to kill all the 'oldies' off.

Oh my god! we've just had ours! Brilliant theory though. Just think how easy it would be for some really ruthless outfit, like the Nazis, to get rid of a chunk of people in one fell swoop.

I don't qualify for a vaccination yet , I am not 65 so I have booked to have one at Boots on Monday. With three babies under two years old to help care for I think it is important I try to stay healthy

If I am not around on Tuesday you will know your theory is correct
