I wish I had been able to report to the police the inappropriate way I had been touched on several occasions, at the age of 14, by the pastor of the pentecostal church I attended. However, I doubt I would have been taken seriously, even my parents didn't give it credence!

Surely after the first time no one would go back --- unless they enjoyed the experience?

Me thinks it would probably have dropped off long before you got as far as the Continent. . . .

As a kid I wish I had been permitted to turn my back on the awful god myth, which spoilt childhood.
