Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Watching the snooker on and off-very strange without an audience, liked to see the reaction of the people watching the matches.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Big expedition this morning with my shopping buddy. First time we've been to Aldi in Llandrindod for 5 months. We both wore masks and because we went early there were not many people around - though I would say half of them weren't wearing masks (it's not compulsory in Wales of course). So pleased to get some things I can't get from Asda - and bought a newspaper afterwards - another novelty.

Had a nice day watching the snooker and reading my paper - though the snooker wasn't as good as last nights!

Dank old morning.
Going to have traffic lights on the road until Tuesday.Wales&West Utilities are "carrying out works on the defective street furniture" in other words they're going to dig up a bit of the road! Parked my car in one of the side streets.
Have a good day.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Have just had a phone call from the Hospital to say that they are starting visiting. Great - BUT - only one person (and that one is the only one allowed until the patient leaves), must be wearing a mask. Sit at the end of the bed and no touching. I've booked myself in for 6 pm on Wednesday, but am wondering what on earth I can talk about for an hour. Rob in not the best of conversationalists. We have a Zoom meeting at 4 pm today to discuss fitting a PEG feeding tube. Let's hope that all goes to plan.
