I do not know Choctaw tribe - but I know other Indian tribe in this area and they are most kind and sensitive and caring people..... it not surprise me that they will donate money back then (and that was LOT of money then) for feeding the Irish people. This feathers appreciation is so classic Native American - it is simplicity but it speak very loudly. The Irish have capture the Native American sense of spirit worship. I like very much to see this...thank you toots... is quite beautiful! Look how delicate is the feather.... wonderful.. xo
