Tubby, this link may help you ......

https://practio.co.uk/coronavirus/ar...vid-19-vaccine

Also, tell the person giving the vaccination that you are afraid of needles, often they have ways of getting you to relax.

Thanks Mags, good link, but none of that helps.

It's on my medical file so I'll see what they can do!

hi

that is true.
what is also true is that if you do get it, you will also have so many needles stuck into you you will wish you had have the jab.

Tubby always remember your phobia comes from your mind, so ask the nurse to ask you questions ( about anything) when she is doing your jab.
40 years ago I used to faint at the sight of a syringe but, becoming an insulin dependent diabetic five years later, I discovered that a prick from a sewing needle creates more discomfort than an injection.
My vaccination took about 3 seconds and having to answer questions from the nurse will divert your mind from what is happening!
It always worked for me when they were taking blood samples! Good luck!

Thanks Twink55 all I can think is that it will be done very quickly. All I've got to do is actually turn up!

Re: Covid-19 Vaccinations

Tubby, l think they must be using very fine needles as honestly, l hardly felt a thing and it was so quick.

Once l was very worried about having an anaesthetic injection into the lower lid of my eye to remove a mole. I told my friend who was a paramedic how petrified l was and could he offer any advice.
He said, ‘Just take it’.

Now with anything l have to have done, like the dentist or my three monthly Vitamin B12 injections, l think of his words.

I think it’s the thought that is the worst.
