Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Sorry that you're still not up to much Sue.It's really draining isn't it?
Been searching for climbing roses, tried a few nurseries-none about. They blame the covid pandemic, why?Do climbing roses suffer because there are bush roses aplenty!
Went to vote this morning-3 lots of papers to put a cross on.Timed it right just two other persons there.
Still quite cold, had the heating on yesterday evening.
Stay safe.

Frosty this morning-it's May!
Granddaughter and children came yesterday so I'm recovering today!
Wonder what the outcome of yesterday's elections will be-whatever the result we will just have to go along with it.
Hope your nasty bug is easing Sue.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Think I'm beginning to get back to normal, though still weak (not been eating much). However, I'm going to have a rustle in the freezer in a minute to see what I fancy for a meal later.

Had a hectic day yesterday. Rep came to demonstrate to most of the carers a new system for rolling Rob in bed. I kept out of the way for most of it as I don't actually handle Rob much any more. Also had a visitation from the BT engineer to mend Rob's phone and a friend called to collect the battery out of Rob's truck to get it charged - it was as flat as a pancake. Glad to have a bit of peace and quiet today even if it is pouring.

Had a dry walk this morning but the field was muddy so had a muddy dog to rub down but he enjoyed it.
Glad you're getting better Sue.
Nothing planned for today.May phone a friend later but she's always got loads of things to moan about-so I may not phone her!
Stay safe.

Starting to eat a bit more now. My lovely DIL brought Sunday lunch for me and I really enjoyed that. Worryingly, I still feel quite wobbly and have to keep sitting down!

Managed to get a haircut booked for tomorrow, perhaps that will buck me up.

Another rainy day-getting fed up of it now.
Taking it easy today after a hectic afternoon yesterday with my g.grandchildren-wish I had some of their energy.
Hope you're better by now Sue. Hope you're ok Jac.
Sounds like pubs and restaurants can open on Monday.Hopefully will be able to treat a friend to lunch on her birthday next week.
Stay safe.
