Horsetail Falls

Cascading more than 50m down a rocky cliff just outside of Queenstown you'll find the aptly named Horsetail Falls. Best viewed immediately after rain during winter it is not difficult to see how they got their name. Access from a carpark on the Lyell Highway this is a must see on the road from West to East Coast!
