Twice a year checks?All very well as long as they don't give up the ghost in between those dates.
It's only a con whilst they work......I suppose 10 years is only a guide, what the manufacturers are happy with.....they have to be realistic in their estimations.

Yes, there's nothing quite as annoying sound-wise that I've come across, particularly as it started at random times of the day such as 5am when I'm in bed.It's in the trash now and my black plastic bag is chirping...I'll get round to throwing my rubbish out later on today.
