I am also a Christian but I cant be doing with all the scramble weeks before and weeks after.We have Christmas here and there are just us and the dog. We have fresh Salmon for Dinner and thats it.

Oh Hell no! I just want a quiet Christmas and I've always avoided family reunions. I haven't seen my brother or sister in about 15 years - we just went our seperate ways. Dianne is an only child, so no relatives on her side.

Our son and elder daughter will be here (both single), and friends are always welcome. Otherwise - that's it. If I was rich, I'd go away for Christmas.

My tree goes up on the first dec, then rascal can have some fun jumping and playing underneath it lol

So does mine Jean, I think it's all over so quick I like to get all decs up early & make the most of it.
Mind you it is lovely when they come down, the house looks so big !

Love Christmas, but its forgotten what its about really, it is nice to have the family around, tho, they come more than Christmas time , & its nice to get the decs down, everything looke much cleaner , & bigger ,
