Now that's what I call an England Team to be proud of!
They did very well, against good opposition.

I believe that England's next game will be against Iceland.

If they win, they will play against Tesco and then Sainsburys.

They are through to the quarter-finals.

Incidentally....

What is the difference between the England Squad and a teabag?

A teabag stays in the cup longer.

Re: Call To Arms England Supporters Thread.

They had some good 'young' players this time round, maybe too young at present with regards to experience, especially for a World Cup.
In 4 years, it could be a very good show for us !

If you've ever been out on a Sunday and seen kids league games you'd be amazed at the footballing talent some of these little kids have these days!

That's what is needed IMHO - more focussing on our own youngsters, more money spent on getting them up to world class and less money spent on foreign players!

I remember hearing Pele years ago explaining how he learned his football kicking tin cans on the street or occasionally on the beach.

Have a look at some of the youngsters kicking things around for fun - you'd truly be amazed at some ofthem! stevmk2
