Just think, due to the cut backs in spending caused by brexit we could reintroduce to the battle field our much feared long bow.

One question - how would we transport any troops, if we can rustle up a dad's army armed with a few shot guns and pitch forks??? - the last I heard 50% of our navy were abroad in America in that sodding great waste of space called HMS QE, the other 50% being on a ship that hasn't yet completed its build and had its sea trials.

The EU was set up because Mainland European nations had developed a silly habit of invading each other and pinching bits of each other's countries with a view to dominating the whoe continent.
Of course, it was mainly France ( Napolean)and Germany( Prussia) that did this but many other countries/Empires also developed this habit
This then invariably resulted in Great Britain getting dragged in to the fray to sort out their shit....Something we have been very successful at doing .
Germany and France are now attempting to dominate Europe through the vehicle of the EU. The vassal states oh Holland , Belgium, Sweden and Denmark are shamelessly assisting them in this endeavour.
As with all other attempts to dominate the continent of Europe it will end in failure, rancour, blame and conflict and , no doubt an independent UK will have to step in and get them out of the shit again.

What makes it worse is that so many of them (certainly on here) exhibit such anti-British attitudes, they don't deserve our help. Let them help themselves... if they can. They've had plenty of warnings.
