I love the saying, "You don't stop having fun when you get old, you get old because you stop having fun."
Life should be all about enjoying yourself. I'm so sorry for those that have health problems and so are limited in what they can do, but I can remember my dad still playing practical jokes when he was bedridden and on the way to death. As for my mum, who is still very much alive at the age of 88, she is still living it up and happy to make a fool of herself. If I can find it, I'll post a picture of her and her partner to show you what I mean.
As for myself well, as my beloved will tell you, I'm always game for a laugh. I remember when we had only recently met, we with a corwd of people in a pub in Edinburgh and she suggested I might want to dance outside the pub to the music we could hear. I think she was a bit startled when I did, but she now knows better than to challenge me unless she wants to see the result. Doesn't stop her doing it though. It's great being silly. Probably embarrasses my children but my grandson seems to like it.
You forgot to mention when you danced outside my flats. On the pavement. For all to see. Dancing in shops. The list is endless..................
