Wheres the EU trade deal with them then ?

Going well is it after 30 years or so ?

Negotiations were formally launched in June 2018 and the first round of talks took place in July 2018 in Brussels.
How else was new zealand's winston peters able to compare britain's performance? (As being not fit enough to achieve)

And they've achieved nothing- they are on hold, permanently

Meanwhile the UK continues to make progress.

The EU is useless ... its track record is of continupus failure.

Yeah, yeah. Japan deal is lost in cheese, usa deal is lost in election, EU deal is lost in fisheries, new zealand deal is no match, australia deal is no benefits. It seems the real effects of brexit are dawning.

Re: &#@%!?

Hi

The EU/UK Trade Deal is stuck in the mire.

Both sides have their game plan

Frost and Barnier are both Civil Servants, they are not decision makers.

The UK Game Plan was devised by Dominic Cummings.

Any progress will only be made after a change of heart by the Politicians.

Things will heat up soon as the holiday season ends.

Who will win?

I have no idea who will win.

Will it affect the price of maggots and fishing licences?

If not, I will be happy.

In a dig at Theresa May’s government, a senior Whitehall source suggested that the EU has not understood that part of the problem is that the previous negotiating team led by Lord Robbins only believed in “Brexit in name only.”

The source said: “When talking to the previous government, the EU were dealing with a negotiating team that may have wanted Brexit in name only, with minimal changes. That is clearly not the case now. The EU needs to realise that we are not up for continuing previous arrangements: when they understand that, it will be much easier to make progress.”

Hi

I disagree, the EU know exactly where we are coming from but are having none of it.

Some of the things we are asking for are stupid.

We want access for all our HGVs to Europe, but refuse to accept their Driving Hours, we want to set our own.

That is just not going to happen.

Same with EU demands for access to our Fisheries.

It is the end game, who blinks first.

Hi

Well on 31st December, which is not that far away, one of us will be right and one will be wrong.

If I am wrong I have no problems with apologising to you.
