I could not eat a meal off a tray whilst watching television.
How can you digest your food properly whilst bent over with one eye on the tv and the gravy dripping down your front!
How can you even savour your food, if your concentration is elsewhere?
To me, that must be like going to a petrol station to refuel!
I brought my children up to sit around the table to eat a meal, to hold a knife and fork properly. No stretching across the table to get food and the television was definitely turned off.

I'm guilty of having a meal in front of the TV especially if I'm eating alone....I'm amazed at myself really because when the kids were living at home I never allowed it.... I hate bad table manners.Kids would laugh their socks off checking me out now
