Sorry to have to say this, but I think it died before it could hatch. There is a huge split in the chrysalis case against the window & the light is showing through it. I'm pretty sure it didn't hatch at all.

I can't see into it, sadly, to check, Pixie. It wasn't split on the outside, only against the window.

Oh I see....not a biology expert by any means, but given the bad weather we have had, I wonder if the sheer coldness of the glass had anything to do with it. That's such a shame. Never mind....keep an eye out this year, and watch all over again, heh!

I doubt any will be daft enough to mistake a window for a wall again. It was a one off I think. I am disappointed it didn't hatch though.
