Thanks Mags. That's worth knowing.
I have bought doubles now, because I could find so little when I needed it. Even where I bought the bed from didn't have anything, neither did any of the shops in town.

Might be an Aussie size they are wider and longer than a standard single bed.. I had to look it up but we seem to have a bigger range of bed sizes if these charts are correct.

In your antiquated measurements - 3' 6" by 6' 8" or 106cm by 203 cm

I'm looking forward to the Frome Steampunk Extravaganza at the end of May. This year as well as the markets and some great bands we are having talks on Victorian etiquette, my friend is doing a talk on Victorian surgery (he does them all over the country) and Victorian death etiquette. We're also having burlesque dancers and workshops. Can't wait!

Re: Looking forward to.

If you put a double duvet on a 4' bed you have a bit of overhang which is good.

Looking forward to Grace's exam results, she has done some tests the last few weeks to see if she is bright enough to get a scholarship to a local private school. Her teachers are very hopeful she has done well.
