Trump has never criticised Putin before, in fact he has gone out of his way not to say anything against Putin since he got in the Whitehouse. It took ages for him to sign off the sanctions against Russia and he phoned to congratulate Putin on winning the rigged election after his advisers had specifically asked him not to do it.At the moment Trump is under pressure due to the Russian collusion investigation by Mueller gaining pace, the Stormy Daniel's and Play Boy model accusations of extramarital sex romps, scuse me but I have to take a minute here as the though of Trump having sex romps just brought a bit of sick up into my mouth, plus the problems of the trade war he has started.
This could be all talk by Trump trying to take attention away from his pressing problems at home.
Of course if it isn't he's not really worried as him and Putin will fight this war in Europe so no real problems for him as it's going to happen in our back yard.
