Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 3)
We have had the workmen in our building for the last three weeks. Major alterations going on, they look set to be here for a while yet. The noise is horrendous, hammer drills, jack hammers, mechanical chisels. A lot of the work is taking place directly under my flat, driving me loopy. Hmm all for the betterment of life I am told. Extremely wet round this bit of Wales too.Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 3)
So cross with myself. Woke at 6.10 am and realised immediately that I'd forgotten to take the casserole out of the oven yesterday! Have just scraped the burnt stuff off, and left it to soak. Will have to have a quick trip to town for further supplies or there will be no tea this evening! (No I didn't smell it burning, you don't in an Aga!)Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 3)
Up at daft o'clock again this morning.Still not sleeping well, keep waking up thinking about my friend. It's been a month since she died.
