Re: Leisurely Scribbles (part 5)

A little story for today:
Many years ago, I had a cat that was half Siamese. He had cross eyes, and walked sideways. He was always chasing his tail, as I think he thought something was following him. His meow was a cross between a sumo wrestlers sigh and a fog horn. He was a very clever cat though. I lived back then in a shared house. Someone kept raiding the fridge. After much discussion, and finger pointing among the girls, we were left confused. One night I went down to the kitchen for a drink, and there he was the thief! It was my cat. He had worked out, that if he used his claws up and down the rubber seal. eventually the fridge opened. I stood there, he caught me in the corner of his eye, took a sideways step, knocked the mop over, that came crashing to the floor, shot up into the air. let out one of his sumo yells, and landed at my feet. He NEVER raided the fridge again.

24 hours in A&E, Doctors are happy with Kids being transfixed with hand held devices, less Saucepans to be removed from heads.

Re: Leisurely Scribbles (part 5)

That's the thing about Cats sweetie, loveably and fluffy as they are you just can't trust them, had that been my Cat he would have ended up looking like a boxer Dog.
For the benefit of all the Cat lovers on the forum, and there are many, I am only joking, I like Cats but I love dogs.

Did you know that the old saying "There's more than one way to skin a Cat" refers to the skinning of Catfish and not our furry friends.

I once spent 24 hours on a hospital trolly Spitty, missed a rung and fell off a ladder, never watched another hospital program again.
That reminds me of the chicken who swallowed a bell…it rung it’s own neck, dilly dilly ding dong.

A&E doctors reported an increase in RSI incidents in the youth of today, but for different reasons.

I love watching A/E programs - they pathos is like a soap opera and the accidents to befall people UNBELIEVABLE - carelessness seems to be a human trait in abundance and provides hours of mirth.

It can be found from the 2 yr old to the 102 yr old from highly intelligent professionals to simple clods!
