I really don't want another hospital stay; I hate the place.
Oh dear, that was unexpected. Now you have another worry.
I was thinking of you today, remembering your chemo tomorrow.

I'll just have to put up with it. Strange, though, that no-one mentioned it to me up until now.

Yes, I agree, but I suppose it is for the best. You know I will ALWAYS keep you company in hospital Such boring places.

All those pretty nurses to wait on you and, as you've already identified the food is good, what more could you ask for???

I've found out that it involves 5 days in hospital. I know it's for my own good and this drug is to stop cancers travelling to other parts of my body, but it's still not nice being in hospital notwithstanding the pretty nurses.

Re: I've had my chest x-ray

I had one night in hospital when I had an allergic reaction to one of the chemo drugs, it was enough, but on the other hand there must be good reason for them to keep you in. At least you will be fed and looked after, which you will appreciate if you’re not feeling too good. Hope all goes well tomorrow Ffosse, I’ll be thinking of you whilst I’m having my chemo too! I bet you have WiFi which is something our unit lacks!

The fact that you didn't know is of concern. You have good & joined up NHS systems up there so I'm surprised.

At least you can (I hope) look forward to the nice food Ffosse.

Re: I've had my chest x-ray

I've got an MRI appointment on the 14th so I may still be in hospital when it comes round.

Well they do seem to be doing everything to try to help you get rid of this affliction. Are your symptoms any less severe yet?

Do you feel claustrophobic in MRIs?

Re: I've had my chest x-ray

I'm still out of breath walking short distances and, yes, I do get claustrophobic during an MRI. Usually I'll take some diazepam or something.
