Re: Eating for Health
The body is a very clever machine. It absorbs what it needs from food and drink and ejects what it doesn't need or want in various ways. This machine, this process requires no thinking or action on our part. It's just does what it is designed to do.
To be healthy you need only provide a constant supply of food and drink and the body will do the rest. Even if you sat one night and ate cream cakes all night, your body would still rebalance itself in a period of time. The same would be true if you had an allnight drink bingeing session. Your body would reject what it doesn't want and rebalance.
It is an incredible bit of machinery.
It is however possible to mess the machine up by filling it with harmful chemicals and substances like sugar. These things damage or compromise parts of the machine, often the parts that help you determine if you are hungry or not.
The entire dieting industry with all its books, slimming clubs, TV programmes etc is all one huge con. Nothing more than a huge, and I mean huge, money making con job.
All we need do is provide the body with fuel and take care not to load it with chemicals and harmful substances. On that basis it almost doesn't matter that much what you eat, fuel is fuel, but a wide variety of foods is a good idea in order to get a balanced supply of minerals.
The world is now so corrupt that one can not any longer take any specific food item for granted. Nothing at all. Nothing can be trusted. Everything has to be researched and researched well. Even simple things like yoghurt and orange juice. Such is life. It's a royal pain in the ass, but we are forced into that world like it or not and if we don't wise up and take that seriously, then our health
will be compromised, at which point a plethora of other massive profit making companies will be ready and waiting to relieve you of your hard earned money in exchange for snake oil products and dubious treatments.
Research, examine labels ruthlessly, be selective, trust noone, stay healthy.
