I can't say exactly what attracted me to him as he has always had aspergers so some challenging times have been had but his kindness is high on the list and luckily he has never lost that.

Tolerating someone isn't something I would like to live with, we of course have tolerance but deep loving is most important.
Sounds like you have a great relationship Julie. I love to hear that.

Hardly sexless, we have three birth children, and that wasn't through an immaculate conception!

You shouldn't assume anything about me! I drew up the drawbridge after my husband's illness, he might still be up for it, but I have done my bit where that activity is concerned. I got fed up with lying back and thinking of the universe 365x3 yearly!

Sorry Comeandgo, but I've now Cameandwent. You're playing mind games here and I can't be bothered with it.

I'm amazed at the responses here !
Although I agree with Jem, its not for us to tell C & G how to be in her marriage, it must be OK for them, they are still together !

My husband has a few pet names for me. Even after all these years it still gives me a warm feeling, we are still very close.

My neighbours on my landing are in their 80's and they are so nice, friendly, funny and we can have blethers about almost anything, with a wee sweary word in between
