I sa a large black feline once on Guernsey and the dog I was walking saw it too and ran off after it .It was far too large for a domestic cat and had the long big tail of the big cats
I asked some people nearby if it was theirs ( well people keep the strangest pets ) and they said they had seen it but it wasn't theirs
It was not as big as a panther .
But sufficiently large for me to feel a bit nervous
However it disappeared like the will o the wisp.

After all, I'm guessing not many of them wear shrouds and levitate. Maybe people we meet in the street are sometimes spirits. Perhaps it's the scientists of the future experimenting with time travel but they haven't quite mastered it yet.
