Matt is in the hotseat tomorrow. Better than Netflix.

That's not difficult.

What's interesting is that, if Cummings was so outraged over things, why did he stay in post and not resign and go public earlier and thus potentially save lives himself?

Hasn't he said now that he went to Barnard Castle because of a threat to his life and not because he was ill? If he doesn't think Boris is up to the job wasn't he instrumental in getting him elected? I dunno its all lost me.

In the Commons today:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-57265134

What Hancock told MPs

What did we learn from Matt Hancock's appearance in the Commons? Here are the key points:
  • Mr Hancock says ministers faced "unprecedented" challenges dealing with the virus but he has been "open and transparent" with people throughout, in public and in private
  • The government has "met every goal it set" during the pandemic
  • It's "too early now to say" whether restrictions can be lifted in full on 21 June and government will only do so "if it's safe"
  • Government has "become a little easier" over the last six months says Hancock and "we've been able to deliver".
  • On care homes, Hancock says it has been "an incredibly difficult time" but the government followed the clinical advice
  • The pandemic has taken "far too many people away far too soon" says Hancock, and lessons will be learned
As one of Hancock's colleagues has said "He's as slippery as a bar of soap.”

What we are seeing from the opposite benches and the MSM is pure hypocrisy. When Cummings sloped off up to Barnard Castle, the press and the Left were all over him vilifying what he had done. Now that he's slagging Boris and Matt Hancock off, he's been elevated almost to the ranks of sainthood.

To paraphrase. Talk about hell hath no fury than a person scorned.

Yes, l think there is a very high risk that Cummings is motivated by
revenge ?
His case against Boris was too intricate to be spontaneous and
it seemed that Cummings was doing all the talking instead of
answering questions to me??
Wasn't the committee supposed to be investigating him ???

Hi

Interesting this morning.

A complete stonewall by Hancock, Boris etc.

Hancock refused to say that he had lied about the return of Covid positive patients to care homes.

Are you sure he gave the order Swimmy ?
Aren't the local NHS Trusts responsible for finding beds for local
people??
Surely they wouldn't have to contact Westminster every time they
wanted to do something ??
Just asking ??
