Ah, I see. You meant your police.
I hadn't realised that the police had any choice. If they are drafted in to support another force, they have to go however they feel about it.

Exactly so they were lucky not to be chosen.

I suppose, having often been referred to as 'the loony left', they feel the need to come up with a similarly alliterative expression for the 'right'.

No .. what you see is what you get with me. It's taken years of practice too so don't knock it .. for others, like you, the lucky few, it's effortless and it comes natural.

You shouldn't jump to conclusions. I wasn't a fellow worker, just someone trying to do his job which took him to the companies, towns an villages of South Yorks. I wasn't involved but I saw the damage caused by to companies and communities by the strike. Many people laid off or losing their jobs from companies who supplied goods to the industry. All caused by the miners belief in a man who was a rabble rouser.
Now, tell me, what was your involvement?

Re: Junior Doctors strike.....

Hi

Strange isn't it that Joe Gormley, the NUM Leader before Scargill, rang rings round both Employers and Governments for years.

He made sure coal stocks were at their lowest just before winter and then negotiated, winner winner every time.

Along comes Scargill, picks a fight with Coal Stocks at an all time high and loses out big time, destroying entire communities and pitting neighbour against neighbour.

Violence, yep, right, pushing around my mother taking my severely disabled young brother to hospital because she did not have any spare money to put in the bucket.

Hard men these oppressed workers aren't they?

Threatening the wives and kids of Miners who chose to continue working, yep, a real good example to to follow, not.

Mob rule?

No thanks.
